It took us almost 2 years to create and refine our perfect recipe. In March 2023, before launching, we decided to ship some samples to the most respected global wine and spirits community contest, in the UK. Our goal was to gather feedback from experts, in order to improve our product further.
Created in 1969, the International Wine and Spirits Competition (IWSC) is renowned for its expertise, influence, and personal approach. The competition brings together some of the world’s most eminent spirit professionals, including master distillers, major buyers from across the industry, and key media.
Sur 34 Gin was judged by one of the most respected Spirits Judging Committees at the IWSC, including:

The result was a Bronze award – the first and only for Uruguayan spirits. The judge committee praised our citrus aroma and juniper complexity, including the Mandarina Criolla, which gives our Sur 34 gin its distinctive flavor.
We are thrilled to have received this recognition from such a respected organization and are proud to continue producing high-quality spirits that are enjoyed by people around the world.
