Our Sur 34 Gin has just been recognized as one of the Top 12 Contemporary Gins in the World by The Gin Guide in their recent competition in London. This recognition means a lot to us, as The Gin Guide is a benchmark for all of us who love this drink.

What made us stand out? Our characteristic Uruguayan Criolla mandarin. This local ingredient not only gives it its vibrant citrus notes, but also contributes significantly to its aroma and overall complexity. As a botanical characteristic of Uruguay, it gives it its distinctive flavor, setting us apart in the growing contemporary gin market and demonstrating our innovative approach to crafting unique spirits. Along with 14 other botanicals, such as Pink Grapefruit, Chamomile, Cinnamon, organic Cacao, and Sichuan peppers, which combine for a pleasant finish, we achieve a complex and sophisticated product that works well in both classic G&Ts and creative cocktails.

In our distillery in Colonia del Sacramento, a Uruguayan city recognized for its Historic Quarter, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, we use state-of-the-art technology such as our column still, imported from the Netherlands, with which we generate the highest quality alcohol and extract essential oils for optimal expression of flavors and aromas.

This approach, which fuses artisanal techniques with modern innovation, is what distinguishes our product and what impressed the judges.

Let’s raise a glass to continue creating unique spirits!
